Macchia is very shy so don't be offended if you don't see her, especially at first. We do not let her outside but she does not try to escape.

We are looking for someone to care for our sweet cat Macchia who is 14 years old and blind. You wouldn't know it though, and she gets around really well. We do not move our furniture around. We also have a few plants inside and outside that will need watering but if they die, that's ok.
Macchia is in good health and not on any medication. We feed her 4 times a day if we are home or twice a day if we leave for the day. She is super flexible and very easy. She has 2 litter boxes that need cleaning daily.
We live one kilometer from Colmurano, a lovely village with 2 bars, a pharmacy, a hardware store, a fruit and vegetable store, and a butcher shop with groceries. We are at the end of a private gravel road so it is very quiet. We have a gate that you can close if you'd like. We have an olive grove with 60 trees and overlook a vineyard. Our neighborhood cantina is a 2 minute drive.
A nearby town is only 5 minutes by car and has a grocery store and a medieval castle. The larger town Tolentino is 15 minutes away. We are within 10 minutes of the Archeological Park of Urbs Salvia, which has Roman ruins. We are a 30 minute drive to the Adriatic Beaches and 30 minutes to the excellent hiking in the Sibillini mountains. We are within minutes of several amazing restaurants.
Inside, we have 2 guest bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds. We have a guest bathroom with a shower. We have fast wifi and a smart TV. Our kitchen is very well equipped. We have a work area and a large dining room table. We have AC and heating mini splits and a pellet stove to heat radiators.
Our area is pretty remote and best reached by car. We may have a manual car available for your use, depending on our trip. Being in the country, we sometimes see or hear wild animals like a fox or wild boar. Macchia does not like children or dogs. Speaking a little Italian would be a benefit in this rural area.
No, sorry.
