House cat sitter in the Algarve

About this assignment

We’re looking for a cat loving, kind, observant gentle person or couple to look after two house cats. Must have experience of house cats and giving oral medicine to cats.

Not a Housesit suitable for sitters who would like to bring children.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

One cat (calm gentle Ragdoll) requires medication. The other we rescued as a kitten, she is very timid and shy with people she doesn’t know but extremely playful and friendly. There are a few plants to water, playing with cats, the rescue cat in particular LOVES playing!

What are the good features of the property and location

15 mins from the beach, less than 10 from historic Loulé, stunning walks everywhere. Fantastic large terrace with amazing views. Lovely open plan house.

Fruit and nut trees in the large open garden, 40 mins walk to the nearest coffee shop through fields. It’s a beautiful Portuguese home.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

You will need to hire a car. It’s unlikely but might need to take one of the cats for a check at the vets. One of our cats needs medicine once a day in the morning
