We had a lovely time
We had a lovely time in Coventry with Fred. He's an absolute darling. It was love at first sight. Within a few seconds of meeting him, he went to both of us for pets and started to purr. He loves to be pet behind the ears and under the chin. You do have to watch his body language because he can get overstimulated and swat or nip. He never used his claws or teeth on us though. He's just establishing boundaries. He's super easy to read if you're looking for signs. Fred is such a lovebug. He liked tipping over on the couch into me so he'd be the little spoon. He was really easy to petsit. Mostly he'd nap or cuddle. 😻 Liz and Jon were lovely hosts too. Great communicators and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We had an issue with some outlets and they responded back to our questions within an hour and got it fixed. The area is safe and within a few blocks of lots of bus lines. There's a great local pub too! We highly recommend petsitting for Fred!

This is my 3rd sit now for Liz, John and Fred and I have agreed to go back again. That says it all as I don’t go back to sits I am not happy with. I have copied my review from a previous sit below which is still relevant. Highly recommended From day one communication was excellent and I was lucky enough to pop in and meet Liz, John and Fred before the sit. I immediately felt very welcome by warm, kind and friendly hosts. Their home is very comfortable, really quiet in a very nice village on the outskirts of Coventry. It has all mod cons and everything you need. The bed was sooo comfortable and I slept better than I have done in ages. There is easy access to Coventry City centre and all of the midlands really including the lovely Cotswolds and historic towns such as Stratford Upon Avon and Warwick. There is a great little local pub in walking distance, and a local convenience store for all essentials is a few minutes walk. Fred is an adorable cat and comes and goes as he pleases (cat flap). He likes to sit with you if you are in the garden enjoying the good weather and always likes to play. I didn't see him much in the evenings but Liz said he will be around during colder winter evenings, which will be very nice. Fred eats well and has an automatic feeder if you go out for an extended time. He really is no trouble at all and a pleasure to look after. If you want very nice hosts, an adorable cat in a very central convenient location then I highly recommend this sit.

I sat for Liz, John and Fred for 6 weeks and enjoyed it so much I have agreed to sit again for another 2 months later in the year! I think that says it all! I would have no hesitation in recommending this sit
Just back from 17 days in Coventry, looking after Fred, the Ninja cat. We met Liz prior to the sit and had a guided tour of the house. The house is on the outskirts of Coventry and within easy driving distance of Stratford, Warwick, etc. The house is large and comfortable with all mod cons, even an air fryer!! We were slightly nervous of Fred at first, he seems to appear from no where, but after a couple of days I think he warmed to us and would spend most evenings either sitting on us or between us. He's a very independent cat, coming and going as he pleases, and was no trouble at all, he even brought us a small gift lol. I would have no hesitation in recommending this sit to everyone.

Coventry area is a great place to stay. Liz’s house is in a nearby suburb- that is still a village. I had a wonderful experience sitting for Liz & Fred(the cat) was a fantastic companion—well-behaved, fun, and a joy to be around. You will absolutely fall in love with him. I know I did. The house was lovely, big, modern and well-situated with convenient transportation options nearby. Coventry is beautiful and the people are very friendly. Public transportation is close by. The family was friendly, welcoming, and excellent communicators, making everything easy and enjoyable. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Liz and Fred. Thank you for your warm hospitality and best wishes for your travels!
