About this assignment

Solo or couple. Practical and active. Who likes a quiet rural life. Some experience with animals, birds, tortoises and a Veg. Patch. The property has a large garden. Situated by the side of a village, surrounded by hills. Everything is up or down.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Taking care of the animals, minor garden and plant management. The veg patch and front terrace will be on a watering system, that is usually trouble free.
I have a mostly outside cat, hens, doves, fish ponds and tortoises. The Hens, and cat would need attention twice a day.

What are the good features of the property and location

It's quiet. Fabulous views, lovely terrace, shaded in summer. Big kitchen. One bedroom is available. The village is 5 mins walk, has a shop, Bar/Cafe and on a bus route. I have good internet suitable for home working and streaming the usual paid for providers.
The main north south train line runs from Orvieto, 20 minutes away by car. Along with the A1 motorway access.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

It is quiet here. At the moment there won't be a vehicle available, apart from My EBike. Winter this year has been very wet. Summer can be very hot. The village is small. The bus service is limited. The village is quiet. I do have space to park a camper.
