Wanted: house sitter / cat-and garden lover

About this assignment

Reliable, honest, clean, non-smoking, easy-going, open to meet new people. A (retired) couple would be great. The cat is very important for my mother. Leo should be taken good care of.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Living in my mother’s apartment together with Leo, the cat of the house. Watering the garden and the flowers (especially when I am not at home) and doing some small work around the house.

What are the good features of the property and location

We are living in Grindelwald, in the Bernese Oberland in Switzerland where many tourists spend their holidays. Our house is located about 3 km outside of the village in a quiet area with good access to public transport. Our region is famous for hiking, biking, climbing, paragliding or simply enjoying our beautiful nature.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Our house is a wooden chalet, built in 1919 from my grandfather. The apartment is in good shape but it’s not luxurious. Leo lives in the apartment and wishes to be part of the family.
