About this assignment

Trust worthy, non smoking, tidy, loves spending some time with our 2 female German Shepherds. Preferably someone who has past experience in looking after large dogs. Our dogs are very low maintenance in that they don’t require being walked as they have access to three acres of fenced property to run around in.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feed the dogs twice a day. Spend some time playing with them. Keep home neat and tidy. Enjoy our friendly German Shepherds and the pretty community.

What are the good features of the property and location

We have a cozy, new log home in a small town. A great place to hibernate and read the books you have always wanted to enjoy! Our 3 acre yard is all fenced in so the dogs can run around freely. It is within a five minute walk to a grocery store, community centre, churches & amenities. It’s a really pretty area with walking trails along the river. It is known for having the best cinnamon buns at the local coffee house. Winter activities abound, ice skating and snowmobile trails come through the town along the river.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Would be easiest if you have a vehicle although every amenity including groceries is within walking distance in this small rural town. It’s generally a quiet area except during tourist season.
