About this assignment

A great house sitter would make communication a priority. I would want him or her to keep Riley safe and cared for, and my home clean and well kept. Main expectations would be to keep me informed with texts and photo updates of Riley, maintain Cleanliness, watering plants, and follow specific instructions that would be given at the time of sitting.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Responsibilities would include taking care of my dog, Riley, maintaining my house in a respectable way, clean and orderly. Attend to my plants, both indoor and out by watering and if necessary, bringing them into the house during times of high winds or storms. In case of the larger plants, they may be brought towards the back door in an area that is protected from the wind

What are the good features of the property and location

I’m located in Saint Charles Missouri just minutes from downtown St. Louis Missouri. I’m only 15 minutes from the airport, and not more than a half hour away from the St Louis Zoo, Forest Park, the Science Center, as well as the beautiful Botanical Garden. You might Visit the Gateway arch, that our city is known for, and many other museums and attractions. Many are free to attend

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

I think a house sitter would need to consider the distance. They would need to travel to get to my location if they live far away. There would not be a car available, but there are Ubers and other public transportation. My dog is able to be left out in the house alone for several hours at a time giving the sitter time to explore the area. I wouldn’t know what else they would need to consider because I would rather speak to them in person to discuss that.
