What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Interacting with pets will take time and effort. Walking young active dog on leash at least four times a day, playtime and feeding twice a day. Petting kitty and letting her out in screened outside area,lanai, in early morning, playing with her toys on sticks so she can "hunt" before her feeding time in am and pm. Grooming her while she eats her kibble. She is a social eater, likes company, and will race upstairs when accompanied to eat while you are up with her. Scooping litter box is also frequently needed as kitty likes it scooped for her to use it.

What are the good features of the property and location

New home, on public transportation bus line, can go to mall in 5 min, and downtown in 10 min, beach in 20 min. Home has community heated pool, 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, large tv with Netflix, laundry room upstairs.Quiet neighborhood but walkable to a variety of stores, including grocery, and restaurants. Several parks with free yoga, dance, Taichi, concerts. Cultural downtown with art galleries, opera, orchestra, comedy club, top tier live shows, and trolley rides to beach. SRQ airport only 10 minutes drive north.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We traveled and were pet sitters ourselves for 7 years. We now have a home, and shortly filled it with our dear cat and dog. We love them, they are young and used to having people present. So you could be our choice if ready to give relaxed attention to our pets, 1 cat, 1 dog,enjoying being in their home with them, and having time out to see area as an additional plus. You could get by without a car, as there is the bus for 1.50, ubers are also easy to get if needed. We do bike and scooter rentals downtown as well.
