Cat sitter needed in centrally located, spacious flat with balcony in Osnabrueck

About this assignment

I'm looking for someone who loves and understands cats. Ideally, you'd spend lots of time with my cat Ziggy, cuddling and playing, and keep me updated on how she is.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Responsibilities would be to feed her in the morning and evenings, make sure she has fresh water, clean her litter box, and spend some time with her inside and outside. I have a couple of plants that would need watering as well.

What are the good features of the property and location

The flat is located very close to the city centre of Osnabrueck. It's a groundfloor flat with a spacious lounge and balcony. You'll have fast internet and are welcome to use my desk, TV, and any other appliances in the flat. Osnabrueck is a calm city with a charming historic town away from the tourist traps - cosy cafes, small events and just enough culture without it being overwhelming. It's also surrounded by hills and greenery, perfect for hiking and cycling. You're welcome to use my bicycle. There's a bus stop right in front of the flat that'll get you to the centre in 15 minutes. If you have a car, there's an allocated parking space right behind the flat.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

While Osnabrueck is well connected to bigger German cities like Berlin, Hamburg or Cologne (you can get their by train in about 2-3 hours), there's no big airport close by. If you're coming from further away, you'd have to fly to Amsterdam or one of the cities mentioned above, and then come here by train. There's no garden, and the flat is in an urban area, but there's a park nearby and you're well connected - the countryside is easy to reach by bicycle or bus. No smoking in the flat. Ziggy likes to snuggle up to people when sleeping, so you'd have to be fine with sharing the bed with her.
