About this assignment

We are hoping to find someone who is nice, experienced, responsible and fond of animals even when they misbehave. We need a person who respects our home and belongings even if our cat does not.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Look after 1 mischievous cat. We have a sprinkler system that reaches most of the yard, but some supplemental watering may be good in the spring depending on the weather.

What are the good features of the property and location

We live in a 100 year old bungalow. The sitter will have access to the full house and yard, but accommodations are in the connected 1 bedroom basement apartment with its own kitchen. We are in a walkable, bikeable historic neighborhood 4 doors from public transportation, one mile to the University and about 2 miles to downtown SLC.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

The basement apartment has low ceilings and a full sized bed. You may enjoy the rest of the house but cook, sleep and use the full sized bathroom downstairs. Laundry also available downstairs. The cat is permitted into the fenced backyard with supervision.
