House in the tropics

About this assignment

I am looking for a reputable and responsible person, ideally a lady who enjoys taking care of a house and dog. The sitter should be comfortable in a Spanish speaking environment. Feel at ease in a village on the littoral of the Pacific ocean under the tropic. The person needs to not be afraid of the heat.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

To keep the house in good order. To feed and take care of my dog and to water the plants and garden. To communicate with me at any time if there is a question or problem. Not having guests before having my explicit written consent.

What are the good features of the property and location

My house is near the ocean and there are small towns nearby. One can walk 15 min. to the closer one and there is a local (very local) bus to go to the others.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

It is hot/warm all year around. The rainy season is in August to mid-October which is also the hurricane season (which I have not seen in 5 years). It a quiet place with music not too far in the week-ends. It is Mexico so the music can be loud particularly at night.
In the published time frame I'll be going abroad for 2 1/2 months and for the rest of time I am planning visiting Mexico.

Can I bring my own pets?
