About this assignment

Someone who likes cats and can spend time with them, not leave them alone for more than 6 hours or so per day.
Also, to water my plants as needed, and empty the mailbox.
We would like to find our house as clean and tidy as we leave it :-)

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feed the kitties twice er day (more if at home during the day as one of the cats will beg during lunch time), Empty the mailbox every couple of days, water my plants every 3 days or so, keep the house tidy and clean

What are the good features of the property and location

it is a fairly new construction home (built 2024), with a nice-sized screened-in patio, abutting the woods.
There is the beautiful Oxford Square with many little shops, bars, restaurants, and Ole Miss university always has some sports going on.
We are a good hour from Memphis, TN and about 45 mins from Tupelo (Elvis' birthplace).
There are a lot of quaint towns, and much nature in Mississippi.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We would like the sitter to be communicative, keep us informed about the welfare of the cats and house, send pictures.
The person should not be away for more than 6 or 7 hours or so at one time. We would also like someone who has some experience with cats, and knows how to care for them (feeding, petting, litter boxes, etc)

Can I bring my own pets?

No, sorry.
