Looking for a responsible and caring single person, couple, or small family who will keep our home tidy, respect our space, and ensure our kitten stays safe, happy, and well cared for throughout the stay.

Your main responsibility is keeping our kitten safe and content: feed her twice daily (she’s not fussy), ensure fresh water, play regularly, and supervise short garden time on a leash. Also water houseplants regularly and outdoor plants only occasionally during rare warm, dry spells, as we don’t have demanding plants.

Cozy two-bedroom flat in a quiet neighbourhood with private entrance, sunny garden for relaxing or barbecues, and a real fireplace for cosy evenings. Bus stops steps away, 25 minutes by bus to Edinburgh city centre. A 25-minute walk through beautiful Figgate Park leads to Portobello beach, promenade, cafés, pubs, and restaurants. Perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and seaside charm.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

The safety of our kitten is our top priority. She’s mainly an indoor cat but loves spending time in the garden, chasing insects. She can be shy and sometimes unpredictable when startled, so she must always be supervised on a leash outside, and doors kept securely closed because of the nearby road.
