About this assignment

Looking for a single person who is kind, reliable with mature attitude. We are going on holidays and need to know our cats are safe and well looked after. Will require regular updates on whatsup.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

We have 3 house cats and 1 outdoor cat. They all require feeding and water bowls kept full. All these cats go in and out to the back garden through a cat door. Two of them also go out to the front (quiet street) and will require some door service or al least awareness if they are in the house or out. Otherwise, the house takes care of itself pretty much.

What are the good features of the property and location

Excellent location for exploring central London. 10m walk to British Museum. Quiet location. Old house full of character and with many period features. Peaceful small garden at the back. Guest room for sitter. Well stocked kitchen. TV in living room. Friendly cats. .

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

I'm asking sitter to come the day before our very early actual departure to get to know the cats and the house. Sitter would be welcome to stay on for a day or two after we come back if needed. Please note this is not a luxuriously furnished house but rather an individual collection of family hairlooms with plenty of art so not to everyone's taste.
