Looking for a house and pet sitter. Summer 2026

About this assignment

We are looking for someone to take care of our Welsh springer spaniel, Louie. A goofy 4year old who loves to be out in nature or just hang out in the garden and watch birds. We would love someone that would take him on long walks or go to the lake for a swim.

We also need you to be able to do some garden work. Like trimming the grass and watering plants.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Taking care of Louie. He needs a walk 3x a day. No medicine or special dietary issues.
He can be left alone in the house for about 4hours. He doesn't mind a car ride so he can follow along on some adventures.

Easy gardening work and making sure the house stays clean.

What are the good features of the property and location

We live in a calm neighborhood with the woods just outside of our doorstep.
The city of Jönköping is just about a 10min car ride away. There is a good public transport that will take you to town in about 20min.
You will be a max10 min walk away from 2 different supermarkets where you can find all you need.

Our house has a good garden on a little hill so you get some nice views.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Louie is a high enery dog when he is outside. He loves to sniff around and follow animal trails. He sometimes needs clear guidance and can have some trouble meeting other dogs on a walk. New places are very exiting for him and he has a hard time calming down in new places.

Inside he is a very calm dog. When you get his toys out he loves to play and goof around but he settles fast after a good play session.
