About this assignment
A warm, reliable animal lover who is calm and patient. Butter enjoys company — she can have some separation anxiety but manages fine alone up to 3 or 4 hours. She is happiest with someone who often stays home. We are working on reactivity to dogs. (I need a sitter who uses positive reinforcement, not corrections, please!) Butter loves lap time! Let's do a meet-and-greet first.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Give Butter lots of loving! Take her out for potty breaks and at least one neighborhood walk a day. She takes a pill 2x a day - hidden in food goes well. Minimal home oversight — mail, plants, security. Updates and photos to me welcome!
What are the good features of the property and location
Upper level with stunning Olympic mountain and ship canal views, abundant light, spacious open plan, easy parking. Wonderful deck where you can hang out, sun, relax, eat. Friendly, quiet and safe neighborhood. Walk to Fremont's cafes, Sunday market, and canal. Ten minutes drive to downtown.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
Butter prefers lots of affection, lap-time and companionship — she's sweet and sensitive but anxious when alone for longer than 3 hours or so. (Downstairs friend/tenant can offer some respite!). Ideal for someone primarily home-based who loves affectionate, cuddly small dogs. Non-smokers only. PS Every sitter we've had so far ends by saying..."If you ever need to give Butter up, we want her." !!!!!!

Butter is such a lady!
I had such a wonderful time looking after Butter. She’s a sweet snuggler who loves to be attached to her “person”. Susan had me come the day before and we had a wonderful dinner w/her neighbor. Butter is literally the sweetest little lady.
