Looking for someone to stay in our Happy Valley Oregon home and look after our cat, dog, and plants while we are away in the month of July.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feed cat and dog, water plants indoor and outdoor, and enjoy our home. Cat can go out in backyard during the day but will come in at night. Dog needs to go out in backyard a few times a day to go the bathroom.

What are the good features of the property and location

Two story home with mid century character. Upstairs loft/ office space if you need to work remote while here. Kids’ bedroom with toddler bed and bunk beds, and playroom. Guest room and bathroom downstairs. Walking distance to nature trails and local creek. Short drive to explore the heart of Portland and all its charm. Lush outdoor garden with seating on deck. Full use of home, kitchen; including espresso machine and pour over coffee set-up, record player, and washer and dryer. We hope you’ll love our home and pets while we are away!

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Dog is about 14 years old, has a mystery cough (been to the vet but not a huge concern) and has developed a desire to lick our floors, but loves to be pet and snuggle up on the couch with anyone who’ll let him. Cat is 8 years old and can be a bit feisty at times but is mostly harmless.
