About this assignment

Remote working professionals, retired travelers - solo or couples & traveling families with kids ages 7-12. Prior pet sitting or pet ownership required. Trustworthy, communicative & reliable are the traits we seek. And also keeping the house up as you found it & being respectful neighbors in our PNW community.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feed our three small pups 2 times a day, walk two times a day 20-30 minutes or at least 15 minutes each walk if pressed for time. Take care of our home as you would your own - general tidying (vacuum/mop), water plants, garbage day and any laundry related to pet accidents or muddy paws.

What are the good features of the property and location

Beautiful easy to clean uncluttered craftsman home in a cul de sac, 10 mins from PDX, 5 mins from Trader Joe’s. Great base camp to Columbia River Gorge trails, hikes and waterfalls and exploring volcanoes Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helen’s and Mt. Adams!

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Experience with caring for 3 small pups, caring for our own - sense of ownership & cleanliness, neighborly & someone who can provide text updates/photos of our fur babies as we build trust.
