About this assignment

Chip gets along with everyone and is cooperative & happy. We love having sitters who are responsible & mature caring for our home and our Chip. This is a perfect situation for someone who is friendly, likes small dogs, enjoys being active, + likes walking twice a day and wants to explore Napa Valley and everything it has to offer. If you work remotely, this is perfect as we have fast Wi Fi and multiple places to choose from to work.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Pool Maintenance: Adding Chlorine and Checking the Filter every other day. Plants: Watering pots in the back daily. Walking + Feeding Chip twice a day, and that's about it other than keeping the home tidy.

What are the good features of the property and location

The neighborhood is delightful, tree lined with homes built in the 40's and 50's. It's an ideal neighborhood to walk in with multiple small parks within a few blocks to choose from. The home has a nice guest room and private bath with a shower and tub. The kitchen is well equipped, the patio is protected from wind and is shady most of the day. it's fun to grill and sit out on the patio in the morning with your coffee or at night with our heat lamp and patio lights.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Chip gets along with everyone and is cooperative & happy. He can be left during the day in between his morning and evening walks/meals and he often sleeps a lot after breakfast up to late afternoon/dinner time. He can get a little scared or reactive on walks so if big dogs approach, it's safer to switch sides of the street.
