Having own vehicle helps but not strictly necessary.
Good communication skills, adaptability, quick and motivated, responsible,
Self-sufficient, strictly no drugs, no parties, able to keep it clean and tidy,, able to water garden and pots, non-smokers, single or couples.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

You will have to look after three adult cats and three kittens. No dogs. Please keep a watchful eye on my property, water my plants.


The animals' safety and well-being is paramount.

Frequent reports and updates are greatly appreciated.

In exchange you will stay in my comfortable detached house which features all necessary mod cons., including 55'' TV, ceiling fan, fully equipped kitchen, etc.

There is one immediate neighbour on the opposite side of the road, older couple, Spanish, friendly and animal lovers.

The house is sitting in 2 acres of terraced land.

What are the good features of the property and location

Large private garden with sunloungers, parasol, mature trees.

Tranquility, mountain water, clean air, night breeze, 10 min walk to the nearest village of Valor and shops.

Seaside accessible, about one hour drive.

High mountains accessible either via tracks or to Sierra Nevada resort (2,5 hours)

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

The property is fully fenced and screened from the main road. There is very good WiFi. Good solar. Air con. Fans. Outdoor shower.

One cat lives outdoors, the others inside the house. One cat has special needs which will be fully explained. But nothing too difficult.

Wet and dry food will be provided beforehand. No medication required. No injections. With luck no visits to vets will be necessary.

Can I bring my own pets?
