About this assignment

Animal lover, nature lover, peace and quiet seeker.
Having own vehicle helps a lot in this location.
Good communication skills, adaptability, quick and motivated at learning a new routine, good walker, good health.
Self-sufficient financially, strictly no drugs, no addictions, clean and tidy,, able to use resources efficiently, preferably non-smoker.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

You will have to look after five cats and keep a watchful eye on my property. The animals' well-being is top priority. Daily reports and updates are required. In exchange you will stay in your own studio apartment adjacent to the main house with all necessary mod cons. There are no immediate neighbours and the house is sitting in 4.5 acres of land. Peace and quiet guaranteed.

What are the good features of the property and location

Fully exposed with sunrise and sunset, and distant sea views. Tranquility, mountain water, clean air, night breeze, silence, nature, bird watching spot, star gazing spot, no light pollution. Not far from villages and towns. Seaside 1 hour drive.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

It's an off-grid property which means being more conscious about how you use energy, water and gas. Understanding seasons and how they affect life up here. Being conservative with resources and enjoy things when are available. Being in tune with the environment .

Can I bring my own pets?

No, sorry.
