We are preferably looking for a single person, ideally a woman, who is calm, reliable, respectful, and comfortable with cats.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone kind and caring who will provide Leo with companionship and a peaceful environment while we are away.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The main responsibility is caring for Leo and ensuring he feels safe, comfortable, and loved while we are away. He is the love of our life.

Tasks include:

- Keeping his dry food bowl full at all times

- Feeding wet food twice daily (morning and evening)

- Providing fresh water every day

- Cleaning the litter box daily

- Spending time playing with him each day, as he is an active and playful kitten

- Sending occasional updates and photos

- Watering the few plants that we have

- Keeping the apartment clean and today

All food, litter, treats, toys, and supplies will be provided for the entire stay.

What are the good features of the property and location

We live in a spacious 165 m² apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms in a quiet and secure residential building in Abu Dhabi.

Residents have access to:
- Indoor and outdoor swimming pools
- Two gyms
- Secure parking (available if needed)

The apartment is directly above a shopping mall, making grocery shopping and daily errands extremely convenient.

Taxis are readily available throughout the city, and we can also help arrange a car rental if desired.

The apartment is particularly well suited for remote workers, offering plenty of space and a calm environment.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

This sit takes place during the peak of summer in Abu Dhabi, with temperatures typically above 40°C (104°F). Most activities are therefore indoors, although the waterfront is only a 7-minute drive away for evening walks.

The main consideration is Leo's personality. He is an 8-month-old rescued kitten who had a difficult start in life. While he is affectionate and playful once he feels safe, he is naturally shy with new people and needs time to build trust.

We are looking for someone who is patient, understanding, and happy to let him approach at his own pace.

Experience with shy, rescued, or anxious cats would be a great advantage.
