Sweet Shih Tzu Needs Twice Daily Meds

About this assignment

Chloe is very sweet and pretty low maintenance - except for taking pills.

She needs someone who is experienced with coercing a 15 lb dog to swallow 1 pill in the am and pm.

She likes to be close to whoever is home. She would prefer to sleep with you. She rarely barks, unless you have forgotten to feed her dinner. She reminds you at 5:30!

Chloe is totally house trained and can hold herself for up to 8 hours.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Walk Chloe a minimum of 3 times a day. One longer morning walk - (1/4 mi at most) and 2 around the block walks.

Feeding and watering Chloe.

Twice daily capsule - may require forcing her to open her mouth and putting in her mouth and rubbing her throat until she swallows. She is a wiley one!

Taking trash and recycling to curb weekly.

Bringing in mail/and or packages.

Watering plants (less than 5)

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

It is HOT in Charleston in the summer.

Chloe has almost no teeth and the ones she has don't puncture skin - if you have to force pills down her throat she may try to bite down on your hand. It doesn't hurt, but is annoying!

WiFi for streaming, but no cable

All Bedrooms are on the second floor - easy carpeted stairs with landings
