About this assignment
We are looking for someone responsible and caring to take care of our 14 year old Plume. Someone also who will take good care of the apartment, ie leave it in the same condition as found.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
The person should be willing to take Plume out 3 times a day, and also to put some drops in her eyes several times a day.
Other than that, the person can enjoy her stay in our beautiful spacious apartment in a great trendy neighborhood, with a beautiful sunny terrace.
What are the good features of the property and location
The apartment is in Saint Gilles, the trendy neighborhood of Brussels, next to a lot of lively cafes, restaurants, shops. There is a little park for Plume at the corner of the street.
One can walk to the center easily, or there are trams and the metro.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
Sitters have to be comfortable with putting drops in Plume's eyes. This is very easy, but is absolutely mandatory as she does not produce enough tears.
Can I bring my own pets?

A wonderful time with Plume
We had a wonderful experience looking after Plume in Brussels! Léa and Frédéric were very kind, friendly and easy to communicate with. Before they left, Frédéric showed us everything we needed to know about Plume’s routine, food and eye drops, and the instructions were very clear and helpful. A week with sweet Plume
I really enjoyed my time with Plume at Léa and Frédéric's in Saint-Gilles. Plume is great company, a sweet and companionable character who very patiently endured her routine of eye care through the day. Unfortunately I arrived during the heat wave or else I would have taken her with me on an adventure or two, but we had many walks around the neighborhood and through the selection of parks (3+) within a 2-block radius. Léa and Frédéric were very welcoming, gave clear instructions about the house and Plume, and were available for any questions I had. Their home is in a great location from which to explore Brussels (even though the heat meant I kept my explorations limited) and there are several Art Nouveau architectural museums within easy walking distance. The house is beautiful and has a wonderful deck overlooking the gardens at the back of the houses that provides a peaceful place to read or enjoy a meal in good weather. They ensured I was comfortable and had anything I needed. I would highly recommend the opportunity to anyone wanting to visit Brussels and who would appreciate a great dog that could accompany them along the way.
