About this assignment

A kind, caring person to look after my elderly cat Houdina and 6 year old labradoodle Freda. Houdina needs to be injected with insulin twice daily. This is very easy to do and I will show you.

Both pets are very affectionate so lots of cuddles are essential 😊

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feed both pets morning and afternoon. Walk Freda (dog) for a couple of hours per day. She will walk all day if you're preference is for long hikes! Inject Houdina (cat) twice daily subcutaneously at 12 hour intervals. Change car litter every few days. She is an outside cat so also uses the garden.

What are the good features of the property and location

It has a large garden and is 2 miles from the centre of York. Bus stop at end of road or an easy cycle. Lots of green space en route to centre, which is dog friendly. Smart TV and full fibre broadband.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Happy to inject cat
Female singles only
I have a female lodger so living space and bathroom will be shared
Location is suburbs of York so 45 minute walk/20 min bike ride or 25 min bus ride to town
