Responsible person or couple to take care of our two cats, water plants, maintain the pool and hot tub ( it’s easy) and generally look after our property.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feed Phoenix our gray male cat. He is easy. Has a cat door and automatic feeder. No litter box. Feed his mama Goldie that was a stray. She is semi feral and lives in my pole barn. Water plants. Take in mail and service the pool once a week with pre measured chemicals.

What are the good features of the property and location

We live on Lake Santa Fe near Gainesville Florida. Comfortable house with pool, hot tub, sauna and beautiful lake view. We are 45 minutes to Gainesville Florida home of the University of Florida that is a vibrant college town and an hour and a half from St Augustine and Daytona Beach. To the north Jacksonville is a hour away. We are nestled in a rural setting in Keystone Heights Florida. We have canoe, paddle boards a two kayaks.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Since we are rural you will need your own transportation. We would like you to arrive a day early so that we can cook you dinner and go over our instructions with you. We only want couples or single individuals and prefer to not have family’s.
