I'm looking for a reliable, respectful, and cat-loving person who will enjoy spending time with Cosmo and McFly while treating my home with care. Previous cat-sitting experience and positive reviews are highly appreciated, as they help me feel confident that my cats will be in good hands.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Your main responsibility will be caring for Cosmo and McFly: feeding them, keeping their water fresh, cleaning the litter boxes, and spending a little quality time with them each day. During longer sits or in the summer months, I may also ask you to water some plants and check the mailbox from time to time.

What are the good features of the property and location

A bright and cozy Altbau apartment in the vibrant western part of Leipzig, surrounded by charming cafés, restaurants, and local shops. The beautiful Karl-Heine Canal and Karl-Heine-Straße are just a short walk away and offer plenty of opportunities for walks, outdoor dining, and experiencing the local atmosphere. The apartment is well connected by public transport, making it easy to explore the city and reach the central station. To help you enjoy Leipzig like a local, you're also welcome to use my bike during your stay.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

The apartment can get quite warm during the summer months due to the amount of sunlight it receives, and it is located on a busier street, although the windows provide good sound insulation. Cosmo usually needs a little time to warm up to new people, while McFly tends to be more outgoing. Both cats are indoor-only and should not be allowed outside.

For the cats' comfort, I generally prefer hosting a single sitter, as they tend to adapt more easily to one new person in their environment. That said, I'm also happy to consider applications from couples or friends. In the past, I even hosted three cat sitters at once, but I noticed that Cosmo and McFly became much more reserved and spent a lot of time hiding. My priority is to make sure the experience is enjoyable and stress-free for both the sitters and the cats, so I'm looking for someone who is patient, understanding, and happy to let the cats approach at their own pace.
