A couple with the energy to keep the garden tidy, pool clean and house tidy whilst the house is on the market for sale. A active couple who enjoy a rural location would be ideal, although the house is walking distance to an active village with bars and restaurants and shops.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Mowing the lawns (good range of garden equipment and a sit down mower available), keeping the main house tidy and in good order. It’s an old house and although fully renovated, things always need attention. The house sitter will be in the guest Appartment which is fully contained. The owner’s family may visit from time to time.

What are the good features of the property and location

Nearby a very dynamic and popular hill village in Drôme provençale. Fully renovated. Heating and air conditioning (in the guest Appartment). Beautiful views, friendly community. Well equipped. Pool.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

It’s a rural location albeit only 15 minutes from the town of Montelimar and direct trains to Paris. Sitters will need to be present when estate agents want to conduct visits, to provide access.
