Hello! We’re looking for a reliable, caring and trustworthy animal lover to look after Sufi, our affectionate ginger Bengal-mix cat. Ideally someone calm and gentle who enjoys feline company, is comfortable with an independent but loving cat, and will treat our home with respect. Good communication and a genuine love of cats are most important to us.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Sufi’s care is straightforward. An automatic feeder handles his breakfast and lunch, so you’ll provide one wet food pouch each evening, top up his water fountain, and scoop his litter tray daily. He enjoys a short play session each evening and some supervised balcony time. Beyond that, simply keeping the apartment clean and tidy and giving Sufi company and affection during your stay.

What are the good features of the property and location

Our bright, air-conditioned apartment sits in a beautiful resort-style community in Madinat Jumeirah Living, central Dubai. You’ll have a swimming pool and gym right next door, plus landscaped gardens throughout. We’re around twenty minutes from Jumeirah Beach and minutes from Madinat Jumeirah, Souk Madinat, the Burj Al Arab, and excellent restaurants, cafes and shops. A lovely, safe and convenient base for exploring Dubai.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Please note that Sufi enjoys daily outdoor access within our gated community, so you’ll need to be comfortable letting him out and supervising his evening time outside. He has a playful nature and occasionally gives gentle love bites, which are easily managed. Dubai summers are very hot, so most time is spent indoors with air-conditioning. A car isn’t essential as the community is walkable, but ride-hailing apps are widely available. Sitters should be comfortable in a warm climate and happy with an affectionate, lively cat who enjoys company.
