Week-long sit for Labrador and guinea pigs in comfy, peaceful Glasgow home

About this assignment

I would like someone who enjoys spending time with a big, goofy labrador and who is confident walking a strong dog, and not worried about cuddles on the sofa.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The sitter will be responsible for feeding, walking our dog as well as feeding, giving water to and 1 x cleaning session for our guinea pigs.

What are the good features of the property and location

The house is a terraced home on a very friendly cul de sac, next to woodland and parks but also very close to Shawlands, one of Time Out's 'coolest neighbourhoods' with cafes, shops and places to visit.
There is space for free car parking outside the house and there are good public transport links with Glasgow city centre a short bus or train ride away. Pollok Country Park and the Burrell Collection are also nearby.
We have a comfy home with front and back garden, two available bedrooms (one with en-suite).
Please note this is a family home so it isn't picture-perfect. It will be clean and comfortable with all you need (TV, wifi).

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Our dog needs a good daily walk plus morning and evening shorter walks and is happy to walk in and around nearby parks. He is lead-trained and can be off lead as well, once you feel confident with him coming back to you. He is also fine to be on his own during the day for a reasonable period of time. He has a dog walker who comes for the midday walk on a Tuesday and a Thursday.
