Riverfront house in Cambridge with two indoor cats

About this assignment

We are looking for the services of a reliable cat-loving house sitter for three weeks this summer (11th July - 2nd August). Our house is located riverfront on the river Cam in Cambridge (with access to a small private island on the river) and is just a few minutes walk from Midsummer Common. The city center is about a mile away along a mostly off-street route across Midsummer Common and Jesus Green.

Tesla and Wolfram are indoor cats and are 10 year old brother and sister. Wolfram loves people and immediately appreciates attention from pretty much any humans he meets. Tesla is more reserved and it can take some time for a new person to get to know her, but she is very sweet once you gain her trust and she actually also really loves attention once she is ready for it. They can also both trained to do some tricks (in exchange for treats) such as going around, shaking paw, high five, etc.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feeding Tesla and Wolfram twice daily, playing with them, cleaning their litter boxes, and generally being around for some daily companionship so they don't worry that humans have forsaken them. Daily watering of garden plants with the hosepipe (assuming it doesn't rain) and watering the house plants a few times a week.

What are the good features of the property and location

Enjoy summer in Cambridge with a lovely patio with table, gas grill, comfy chair, and access to a private island on the river Cam just at the back of the garden. Ultrafast broadband fiber-to-the-home internet (2.3Gbps), a variety of streaming services, a dual-monitor desk for working from home, and a convertible dining room table with a monitor arm as a second working location.

The house has two bedrooms (one super king and one single), an office with a double sofa bed, and two full baths with showers upstairs.

There is parking for one car in the shared driveway in front of the house, though there is also usually parking available on the street and it does not require a permit.
