About this assignment

I am looking for a reliable person that treats my animals with kindness, respect and dedication :) To me it is very important that you feel confident around horses and feel prepared to take care of a senior dog.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feeding the horses is the main part, they get hay several times the day. The dog (15 years) is easy to handle in general, he needs his meals as well and a short walk or two (max.) every day. The cats are doing their own thing, you only need to fill the bowls once a day. They will show up for cuddling as well. Once a day it will be necessary to clean the pony paddock which won't take you more than 15-20 mins.

What are the good features of the property and location

We are located somewhere in the no-where ;) so it's very quiet and green around here. Our property is spacious but wild, so you'll find many green spots to enjoy nature and a view with ponies. We are not too far from the coast, so you could make a trip to the beach once in a while. Stralsund and Rostock are near by (in our dimensions) but to be honest, you won't have enough time for a longer day-trip.
You can make the most out of your stay here, if you bring a remote project with you or just want to re-set your batteries and enjoy nature and being truelie off for some time. There's Wi-Fi, so perfect conditions to work remotely or stream audiobooks or films whenever you feel like.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

As mentioned above, our place is lovely and feels like a green paradise. Our animals are the best and you will enjoy their company, I am sure about that :)
But won't neccessarily meet a lot of interesting new people and you won't find many bars or cultural places to visit. Your "workload" will be very relaxed but especially the feeding schedule of the ponies won't allow longer trips to go and explore.

Can I bring my own pets?

Yes
Restrictions: it's not impossible to bring a dog, but should be discussed before.
