About this assignment

We are looking for someone to look after our bungalow and take good care of Skip our beautiful clockerpoo cross Australian shepherd. We would like a person or persons who will respect our property and leave it as they find it.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Responsibilities will include making sure Skip is fed at allocated times and that he gets two good walks a day. Looking after the bungalow plus a minimal amount of gardening. i.e maybe some watering and perhaps cutting the grass.

What are the good features of the property and location

Our home is a two bedroomed bungalow situated on the Main A158 coast road that runs from Lincoln to Skegness. There is a modern Kitchen and open dining room that opens out onto the rear garden. There is a comfortable sitting room with smart TV and access to Netflix and Amazon. Bedroom 2 is where the sitters will sleep. This bedroom has a small modern cloakroom with toilet and sink but sitters will also have access to the main bathroom which will be completely modernised by the time of the sit. There is a large front area with garden and drive big enough for 4 cars, so p[lenty of off road parking. Wragby is situated on the Main A158 from Lincoln to Skegness. Lincoln is just 10 miles away as is Horncastle. Skegness is 30 miles away, Louth 15 and Market Rasen just 8. All are accessible by bus. The Lincolnshire Wolds are pretty much on the doorstep. Lincoln is a very old city with much history, including it's cathedral which is one of the best in Europe. You will find the area interesting and friendly.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

A car might be useful but as stated above there is an excellent bus service with bus stop about 50 metres away. Skip is a lively dog who does like alot of attention. He is used to being left but usually not more than 3 to 4 hours. We would prefer sitters to minimise their time away from the home but at the same time not restricting themselves too much.. We have put down a start date as the 8th June 2027. As we will be leaving early hours of the 9th. This will give sitters a chance to settle in a bit and us all to egt to know each other a bit better. Sitters will use the spare bedroom which does have ensuite cloakroom attached but they will of course have full access to the main bathroom which is about to have a complete makeover.

Can I bring my own pets?

No, sorry.
