About this assignment

I am looking for a trustworthy, responsible house sitter who genuinely enjoys animals and has experience caring for dogs. Bindi is a friendly, 20 kg rescue dog who needs regular walks, companionship, and someone who will spend a reasonable amount of time at home with him.

The ideal sitter will be clean, respectful of my home, reliable, and comfortable following clear instructions. I would prefer someone with previous house-sitting experience, good references, and the willingness to have a video call before we agree to anything.

The sitter will also be responsible for keeping the house secure, bringing in the post, taking out rubbish, watering plants when needed, and leaving the home clean and tidy. I would appreciate occasional updates and photos of Bindi while I am away.

There is also an African grey parrot in the home. Her responsibilities include providing fresh food and water, keeping her area clean, and observing her carefully for any changes in eating, droppings, or behaviour. Detailed instructions will be provided.
