Responsible single person or couple who loves cats and animals in a rural setting. Non-smoker, some experience and good communicator. Self-motivated.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

We have three indoor cats, 2 Maine Coons and a tortie tabby elder girl.
Tango, Foxtrot are the Maine Coons and Luna the Tuna is our elder girl.
The cats need food and water and Luna gets a daily squirt of gabapentin...calms her anxiety.
We currently have six sheep and about 25 chickens. They roam our fenced small pasture during the day and all go into the coop and/or chicken house at dusk. They get food supplements when let out and let in. We sell the chicken eggs in a self-service cooler on the porch.
We also have a garden which may need watering in the summer.

What are the good features of the property and location

We live on a beautiful island, 30 minute ferry ride from downtown Seattle.
There are parks and walking trails nearby. We have 2 1/2 acres, half in a ravine and half pasture in front of the house.
Ferry and "downtown" Winslow are about a 10 minute drive.
Hot tub on back porch.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

This a small "hobby" farm in a rural setting. We have systems in place for over 20 years to make things easier for us and sitters, but there are daily duties.

Can I bring my own pets?
