I am looking for a trustworthy, responsible and caring person who loves dogs. I would like someone who will treat my home with respect and make my dogs feel safe and loved while I am away. Previous experience with pets is preferred.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The house sitter will need to feed my dogs, take them for walks, give them fresh water, keep the house clean and tidy, collect the mail if needed, and let me know if there are any problems.

I would appreciate receiving daily updates, including WhatsApp messages, photos, and short videos of Nana, so I know she is happy and doing well.

Sometimes, when I am away, Nana loses her appetite and may not want to eat. In those situations, she may need a little encouragement, and occasionally she needs to be hand-fed until she feels comfortable again.

What are the good features of the property and location

My home is a newly built house with all modern comforts, including air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, a dishwasher, a coffee machine, an air fryer, and a private terrace. It is located in a quiet and safe area, with shops and services nearby. The train station is easily accessible, and Milan is only 20 minutes away by train, with trains running every 30 minutes. It is the perfect base for anyone who wants to enjoy a peaceful stay while also exploring Milan and the surrounding area.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Before applying, please make sure you are a genuine dog lover and are comfortable caring for two dogs with different needs. I would really appreciate regular updates while I am away, including WhatsApp messages, photos, and short videos, so I know they are happy and doing well.

Nana is a 3-year-old Cocker Spaniel. She is very attached to me, so she may miss me and feel a little sad at first. She does not like being left alone, so if you go out, you are welcome to take her with you. She must always be kept on a leash. Nana is very friendly and gets along well with all people and other animals.

Nana has hypothyroidism and takes 0.35 ml of liquid medication every morning. The medicine is kept in the refrigerator and must be given at least 3 hours before breakfast.

Chicca is 12 years old. She is blind, partially deaf, and has difficulty walking because of her age. She cannot stay out for long because she gets tired easily. She needs several short walks during the day (around 10 minutes every 3 hours). At least two of these walks should be outside the property and last about 15 minutes. The rest of the time she can use the garden for toilet breaks.

Both dogs are fed twice a day. Their meals consist of dry food together with chicken or Simmenthal canned beef. Above all, they need kindness, patience, and lots of affection, as they are much-loved members of my family.
