About this assignment

We are looking for a reliable pet lover, who is respectful of other people's property. Someone who will treat our pup and house as they would their own, while enjoying their time in our home and city.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The house sitter would care for dog, including taking her for walks, playing ball with her and making sure that she is fed at her usual times. We would also want the sitter to water the plants and maybe pick the field peas in the garden that are ready during the time we are gone.

What are the good features of the property and location

Our home is on James Island which is close to beaches, waterways, and downtown Charleston. We live in a nice, walkable neighborhood with many large oaks that provide shade. We are in walking distance to several restaurants and a movie theater

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We have a small house and prefer that no parties or entertaining take place on the property, we have 2 driveway spaces to park a car, and our pup is very active and would need plenty of love and attention, such as walks and outside play.
