Looking for a trustworthy, clean, reliable, quiet, respectful house sitter. Experience housesitting (with references), good communication, and a love of animals essential. Experience gardening not required, but is a nice-to-have.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feed and love my cat, Taj. Take generally looks after himself but can get anxious when no-one is around. Main job is to feed, clean up after and care for him. After that, please keep the house clean and tidy and water the garden if there is a dry spell. Would appreciate some leaf litter clean up and weeding, if needed, but not required.

What are the good features of the property and location

It is a renovated weatherboard home with 3 bedrooms (1 used as a study), 2 bathrooms and 2 lounge rooms. Super pretty, comfortable and nicely furnished. Only 5km (or a few train stops) from the CBD. Tram lines also run from both ends of the street. There are great restaurants only a few minutes walk away, as well as 3 pubs and a bar. The garden is edible: please help yourself!

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

References a must. You must also be non-smoking. You can't bring your own pets (sorry!). Only one bedroom, with king size bed, available for use.
