About this assignment

I’m looking for a responsible, caring and experienced dog sitter who will stay in my home and keep my dog company while I’m away. Someone who genuinely enjoys dogs, is comfortable with daily walks, and will give her plenty of attention and affection.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The main responsibility is caring for my dog — feeding her, taking her for regular walks, keeping her company and maintaining her usual routine. I’d also appreciate occasional updates while I’m away and basic care of the apartment.

What are the good features of the property and location

I live in a comfortable, quiet apartment in Kiryat Tivon, a green and peaceful town in northern Israel, about 20–25 minutes from Haifa. The apartment overlooks a small wooded valley, with beautiful short walks right outside the door. Kiryat Tivon has cafés, shops and everything you need nearby, and is a great base for exploring northern Israel, including Haifa, Nazareth, Acre (Akko), the Sea of Galilee, the Galilee, even the Golan Heights and many other historical sites, nature reserves and beautiful places to visit.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

A car is recommended if you’d like to explore the area, although Kiryat Tivon itself has shops, cafés and other essentials within easy reach and bus service is good to Haifa, Nazareth, etc. Most importantly, I’m looking for someone who is happy to spend time at home with my dog and not leave her alone for long periods, or take her with you on nature hikes and outings.

Can I bring my own pets?

No, sorry.
