About this assignment

I am looking for a quiet, mature person to look after my cat and keep my apartment reasonably clean. Take the garbage out to the cans which are behind the building.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Make sure Trixie's bowl is filled with dry food and give her about 1/3 of a can of moist food a day. Litter box cleaning once a day. And of course play with her and return her affection and companionship.

What are the good features of the property and location

Quiet, residential, tree lined street very close to 3 bus routes and 2 blocks from the subway. Grocery store, restaurants, bakeries, shops, bars all near by within waking distance. Nice neigbors in the building (which has 4 - 1 bedroom units). There is a washer and dryer in the basement.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Apartment is small but well appointed. Best for one person but a couple can work. Gas forced air furnace is in a closet in the apartment and you can hear it go on. Sitter needs to keep voice and TV sound at a moderate level so as not to disturb the downstairs neighbor. Please remove your shoes when in the apartment. Trixie is not allowed outdoors or in the hallway.
