About this assignment

We are looking for a responsible, caring and reliable person who genuinely enjoys dogs.

We have three lovely dogs:

* Ruben, 7-year-old Border Collie
* Tush, 2-year-old Border Collie
* Rolle, 11-year-old Miniature American Shepherd

All three are friendly, easygoing and easy to handle. They are used to spending time outdoors and have a relaxed and independent lifestyle. They enjoy walks and company but do not have complicated routines.

We are looking for someone who will enjoy spending time with them and take good care of them and our home. Previous experience with dogs is preferred

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The main responsibility is to care for our three dogs, ensuring they are safe, happy, and well looked after. They are easygoing, enjoy walks, and are used to spending time outdoors.

We also ask that you feed them, give fresh water, take them for walks, and keep the house secure, clean, and treated with the same care as your own.

What are the good features of the property and location

Our home is in a peaceful, private location right by a beautiful lake, surrounded by forests and nature.

It is perfect for anyone who enjoys walking, hiking, mushroom picking and quiet surroundings. You can enjoy the lake and relax in our sauna after a day outdoors.

We are about 40 minutes from Gothenburg, with a car available and good Wi-Fi for working remotely.

A wonderful place to experience the Swedish countryside in autumn.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

A valid driving licence is essential, as our home is in a rural location and you will need to be comfortable driving a car.

You should be confident and responsible around dogs and comfortable with their relaxed, independent lifestyle.

Previous experience with dogs and/or house sitting is preferred. We are looking for someone reliable, respectful and happy to enjoy a quiet countryside setting.
