Looking for a house and pet sitter near the beach in Connemara, Ireland

About this assignment

We are looking for someone reliable and trustworthy to mind our pets and house while we go abroad for the school year. We also have backup from family to mind the pets but it would be ideal to have someone come to our home to stay and mind them as I know they will be happier in their own environment.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Mind a cat and dog (10yrs) and general upkeep of house. Also have two older children in Galway who may come home to house some weekends.

What are the good features of the property and location

It is a big spacious house near the sea , within walking distance of Trá an Dóilín beach and Carraroe village. It is a quiet peaceful location within 45 minutes drive of Galway City.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Need to be flexible and be ok with college kids coming home the occasional weekend. A car is useful but we are also close to the village which has a good bus service to Galway (424).

Can I bring my own pets?

Yes
Restrictions: As long as they get on with our pets !
