House sitter for beautiful Manitou Springs, Colorado

About this assignment

We are looking for an animal-loving house sitter for our mountain home. Our house is fully renovated within walking distance of the town center and many beautiful mountain trails.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

We have a well behaved energetic Australian Shepherd who will need basic dog sitting, eight hens that need water every other day and possible daily egg collection (they may not be laying in November) and a bearded dragon who needs daily feeding with mealworms plus indoor plant watering.

What are the good features of the property and location

We are in Manitou Springs, a small mountain town near Colorado Springs, CO that is famous for our mineral springs, the Pikes Peak Cog Railway and Pikes Peak Marathon and Ascent.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We have about thirty steps from the street to the front door and the house is three levels with the guest bedroom in the walk-out basement, kitchen on the main floor and lizard is on the second floor so being able to manage stairs is a important. Non-smokers are a must.
