Dogs can be walked off-lead in the fields, but only if there are no other dogs around. If you see another dog on your field walk, just leash them both again until you have passed the other dog, then you can let them off again.

We’re looking for someone who is clean, tidy and reliable, and who will treat our home with care. Most importantly, we’d like someone proactive and attentive with the pets, who is comfortable spending time with them, keeping to their routines and noticing if they need anything.
For our cat and two dogs:
Feeding the cat and dogs according to their normal routine and making sure fresh water is always available.
Walking the dogs regularly and giving them plenty of attention, play and exercise.
Cleaning up after the pets, including litter tray duties, garden clean-up and keeping feeding areas tidy.
Spending time with all three pets so they have company and are not simply being fed and left alone.
Keeping an eye on their behaviour, appetite and general wellbeing, and contacting us if anything seems unusual.
Keeping an eye in particular on the sausage dog, who is still learning to ask to go outside for the toilet (she will sneak upstairs).
Giving any simple medication or supplements if required and following any specific pet-care instructions we leave.
Keeping the house clean and tidy, bringing in post or parcels, putting bins out when required and generally making the home look occupied.
Keeping doors, gates and windows secure and taking sensible care of the property while we are away.
Quiet
We live in a cul-de-sac section of an estate.
There is direct access to public rights of way into the agricultural lands around and to the River Welland
If you have a car you are able to access a wide network of walking areas, pubs/restuarants, golf clubs and we are 1.5hrs from Lincolnshire wolds and coastline
Bus route leaves from around the corner, providing cheap and easy non-driving access to Peterborough and Spalding.
Small corner shop around the corner providing basics. Larger stores within driving distance but also do grocery deliveries.
We live in a small, quiet and fairly secluded village, so this assignment would suit someone who is comfortable staying in a peaceful rural setting. There are some local amenities nearby, but larger supermarkets, shops and other services are too far to reach comfortably on foot, so having your own transport or being comfortable using the bus route is strongly recommended. The bus will get you to every where you need to go.
Sitters should also be comfortable looking after two dogs and one cat, including regular dog walks and spending plenty of time with the pets at home, and paying particular attention to our sausage dog who does not ask to be let out when she needs it.
No, sorry.
