About this assignment

I am looking for a kind, clean, caring, seasoned dog-lover and caretaker who will respect my home like it is their own. I am looking for someone who likes to hike and walk Lucca (the Aussie!) off leash for up to an hour (if not more). I am looking for a great communicator, someone who is trustworthy and operates with a high degree of integrity, someone who keeps regular hours (wakes up ~7am; asleep by ~11pm), and isn't noisy or messy.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Basic dog and home care. Feed Lucca 2x/day (morning & night). Walk Lucca 3-4x/day (morning, midday, evening), which needs to include at least 1 off leash walk/play/run. Keep my apartment clean and tidy, host no parties or guests, and maybe water 2-4 small easy plants 1-2x/stay.

What are the good features of the property and location

This spacious, well furnished 2 br/2 ba apartment has a corner, ground floor location in the Strata Apartments on Bend's westside. The location is very close to trails, parks, river, hiking, biking, skiing, restaurants, bars, and shopping. Enjoy wifi, TV streaming services, a full size washer/dryer, office space, comfortable living area, king bed, and a full kitchen with a variety of high quality kitchenwares for cooking at home.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Lucca is a very sweet, cuddly, smart, nondestructive dog who gets along great with other dogs, people, and kids. She is high energy and needs free-range off leash roaming/walking. She is incredibly loyal, has excellent recall, and may get a little vocal if others dogs vie for your affection over hers.
