Tommy dog and MauMau cat need a loving sitter

About this assignment

We are looking for a person or couple who will be genuine animal lovers, with references from other pet parents. We need to have someone reliable and trustworthy who will give Tommy dog cuddles, his medicine and take good care of him and keep us updated while we are away. We also have a free spirit campo cat, MauMau. Tommy and MauMau are best friends.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Give Tommy, short walks 2 or 3 times a day. Not in the hot hours. Give him his daily medicine. Feed him and make sure there is water in his bowl. Keep him company, although he can be left alone for up to 5 hours. Check his bed and bedding are clean. He is very easy to look after, he is a well behaved senior dog but likes cuddles and some attention. Also please feed, water and cuddle MauMau cat if you can. We will ask you to water some potted plants too.

What are the good features of the property and location

The self contained studio with its own entrance is set in a beautiful and unspoilt part of Andalucia, no street lamps, no busy roads, it s in the countryside, pure, tranquil. Excellent for mountain walks. The nearest hamlet with 2 good restaurant bars is Los Ventorros, 4 kms and the nearest town is Comares. 7 kms away. We have plenty of books for you to read here during your stay. Or you can have a swim in the well maintained pool.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

For this assignment sitters need to have their own transport. No need for it to be a 4x4. A standard car is fine.
We are located in a beautiful unspoilt area but please note it is in the campo, almond and olive trees surround us. We are blessed there is no traffic or tall buildings but it is a rural area.
