Easy DC living with loving pups! Remote work friendly and no car needed :)

About this assignment

We are looking for a housesitter to spend the holidays with our sweet pups, Aries and Figgy.

If you are used to caring for dogs, this sit will be a breeze. When we can't take our pups with us, we want them to feel safe and happy in their home with a sitter who is caring, responsible, communicative, and trustworthy.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Most importantly, taking care of our pups Aries and Figgy. Watering the houseplants weekly. Returning our home to use the same way we left it!

What are the good features of the property and location

This is a beautiful 2-bedroom 2-bath on the blue / yellow DC metro line! Our Old Town Alexandria condo is 25 minutes metro from NW DC, with huge windows that let in a ton of light in. Street parking is easy and 2 grocery stores are around the corner.

There's two desks you can work from, a cozy bed, and a couch to watch TV on. It's absolutely silent here - and the two of us have been co-working for years without any issues.

This is RIGHT next to the metro and restaurants! The Mall and Museums are a short ride away. Hiking trails are extremely close, and you'll be a 15 minute walk from the water. It's perfectly located and a great area that often has events, like food festivals.

Aries and Figgy (our pups) are super familiar with the best spots, and will love walking you around. They especially love the beautiful waterfront a few blocks away. We've loved living here and you will too!

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We generally like one photo a day of our pups :) You must be non-smoker(s), have references and bring no pets of your own. Please respond if you are interested. Thanks! Ash and Erika.
