I’m looking for a reliable, patient animal lover with experience caring for both cats and dogs. I have two cats and one dog, and all three are older, so a calm, gentle approach is important.

My cats are generally reserved and only affectionate with certain people. They suit someone who respects their space and lets them approach on their own terms. My dog is a quiet boy who spends most of his day sleeping and enjoys short walks. Someone who appreciates quieter, older pets and is comfortable following their established routine would be a great fit.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

My house sitter’s responsibilities will include:

- Staying in my home for the agreed dates.
- Following my pets’ usual feeding routine and providing fresh water.
- Taking my dog on short walks and providing regular bathroom breaks. He needs to follow the specific walking route I provide; otherwise, he won’t walk.
- Scooping the litter boxes daily and keeping pet areas clean.
- Offering gentle companionship while respecting each pet’s personality and space.
- Treating my home with care and keeping it clean, tidy, and secure.
- Sending occasional photos and updates, and contacting me promptly about any concerns with the pets or the home.

My home has two bedrooms and two bathrooms and is in a safe, quiet neighborhood in Irvine. You’ll have use of one bedroom and the hallway bathroom.

- A full kitchen for preparing your meals. Sitters provide their own food.
- Convenient access to the 405 freeway and Culver.
- Beaches approximately 20–30 minutes away by car, depending on which beach you visit.
- Nearby shopping at Irvine Spectrum Center and South Coast Plaza.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

All three of my pets are older, so please be comfortable with gentle care and following their established routine.
