Downtown Madison studio with the chillest dog - dates flexible as of now

About this assignment

Looking for someone who loves dogs and is physically capable of walking/going up and downstairs. I work from home and spend a lot of time with Maizie. Ideally, my sitter would be able to spend lots of time with her as well.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

We live in an apartment and go out twice a day. I take her out in the morning for a potty walk about 15 minutes. Then, in the evening for a 40-60 minute walk. She gets fed after each one.

What are the good features of the property and location

We live right downtown in Madison, next to a bike path and bus line. We'd have a bike available for use. There's so many bars, events, and parks nearby. I personally love the Memorial Union and Brittingham Boats. Everything you could need is in close proximity and it's a smaller, safe city. I'm happy to recommend activities based on your interests as well. Our apartment complex also has a community room and small workout room. We have a fully stocked kitchen as we do a lot of cooking. I also have a small stash of books you'd be free to enjoy!

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Maizie is not a fan of other dogs. She's well trained and doesn't react to other dogs while walking. She just doesn't like them in her personal space/doesn't do greetings. She's a lone wolf. I'd like someone that's aware of their surroundings and have cared for a reactive dog.
