Mini-poodle in DC apartment

About this assignment

We have a very snuggly poodle who needs company while we are out of town.
We are hoping to find someone who would be open to returning in the future and potentially available 2-3 times a year.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Franklin typically gets 4 walks a day. He can be left alone for 6-8 hours.
He gets two meals a day and is all together fairly low-maintenance.

What are the good features of the property and location

We live in a mixed development building in Washington DC that’s very conveniently located to the metro 🚇. (Easy to explore the whole city)
We are across the street from a Trader Joe’s and down the block from a Whole Foods.
Along with many restaurants and shopping.
Our apartment has many shared amenities including a pool, golf simulator, and full gym.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We would prefer you always arrive a day before we need to leave to help Franklin acclimate to the situation.
Franklin also prefers to sleep with someone!

Can I bring my own pets?

Yes
Restrictions: Would prefer no pets on the first visit, but if you are a returning sitter we are very open to you bringing your own pet.
