Austin one bedroom apartment with a sweet cat!

About this assignment

I'm looking for a clean, respectful cat lover who wants to explore Austin and give my cat, Judy, plenty of snuggles and pets while I am away! LGBTQ+ friendly is a must.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Judy is easy. She has a litter robot and an automatic feeder, so responsibilities would be changing out her water, adding litter to her litter robot, putting out the trash for trash valet, and giving Judy lots of snuggles and playing ribbons with her!

What are the good features of the property and location

My one bedroom apartment is in an incredible location in Austin, right on the edge between Hyde Park and North Loop. Walkable to great restaurants, coffee shops, and a cute neighborhood to walk in. About a 10 minute drive to downtown. There's a great neighborhood bar right across the street. I am on the top floor of the apartment complex, so it is quiet. There is an elevator.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Ideally, I'd like someone who plans to spend a reasonable amount of time at the apartment rather than treating it solely as a place to sleep. You'll have a comfortable apartment to yourself in Austin in exchange for caring for my cat. You don't need to be here 24/7 by any means, go out, explore, and enjoy. Just don't be gone all day, every day.

I'd like to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand so we can get acquainted and make sure it's a good fit for everyone. Reliability, cleanliness, and being respectful of my home are important. LGBTQ+ friendly is a must.
